Frank Muller

You may not know his face but you certainly know his voice.

Before there was audible.com there were the original audio books; books on tape and then later books on cds (I guess, but no one really called them that). Being a major Stephen King fan, and King writing many, many words, and Frank Muller being King's preferred audio narrator of choice, meant that I spent many hours listening to the mellow resonance of Frank Muller over the years. And I just wanted to pay him a little respect here.

Frank Muller recorded an extensive booklist of over 200 books by 100 different authors. Narrating for such authors as Stephen King, John Grisham, Tom Clancy and Elmore Leonard. In late 2001 he was in a horrible motorcycle accident. He was diagnosed with having a Diffuse Axonal Injury (DAI), severe brain injury. He made gains and eventually even moved back home from the hospital but eventually died six years later.

Here is my tribute to him. Ladies and Gentlemen, Frank Muller.
